 Great cables at a low price January 7, 2009
So I just received these cables this week and all I can say is that for the price you just can't beat this deal. While Monster and many other companies sell their "high end" optical cables with all sorts of features, they are still just optical cables. I have these cables connected to both a Blu-Ray player as well as my cable box and the sound quality is great. I bought a few extra of these just to have on hand as I expand my AV system. This is a bargain for this price...
 Item OK; Shipping excessive January 7, 2009
While the item appears to be OK, the shipping charge was excessive. I ordered four cables at the same time from the same seller and they arrived in one envelope, yet I was charged shipping for each individual cable for a total of $11.92. Combined shipping for all four together should have been at least half as much. The problem lies in Amazon shipping polices. I am not happy when people achive their profits in this round-about manner. Amazon refused my initial request to reduce the shipping charge. Only after I submitted negative feedback to the seller on this issue did Amazon grant me a $2.98 refund on the shipping. At the same time Amazon granted the refund, they asked me to pull down my feedback. I am not going to do this because I want all potential buyers to know that this problem exists on Amazon.

why would you spend $20+ on a cable like this in-store when this one does the EXACT same thing for 1/10th the price?
It sounds great, is solid, and arrived VERY quickly.

este comentario es para las personas que hablan espanol, este cable es de lo mejor que pueden encontrar y del precio ni hablar esta regalado, yo he comprado 6 de ellos y 6 hdmi y funcionan perfectamente, ni se molesten en leer mas comentarios comprenlo ya, es de lo mejo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

At first I had problems hooking up this product from my PS3 to the sound system. The plug just wouldn't seem to fit in, and I thought I bought the wrong product. Then I looked on some message boards the had some similar problems and they informed me that the plastic nubs inside the plug are just a cover and I needed to remove them. Knowing this the plugs finally fit in both systems and I now have digital sound!
