Best mousepad I've used! January 9, 2009 I'll have to admit the last accessory I've ever thought about for my computer was a mouse pad until I recently discovered there were so many types, upon looking around the internet the best value I saw for the quality was SteelSeries, so reading that I decided to pick up this mat.
I was very impressed, the packaging was nice, it even came with a sticker, I own the Microsoft SideWinder Gaming Mouse and it glides across the mat easily and makes gaming and just plain computer better than it used to be before I owned the pad. It's very smooth.
Though it does have a few problems with my glass desk and slipping, when I am in the heat of gaming, it likes to slide out from under my wrist and off of my desk, but this is only a small issue really. It performs great and I would recommend it to anyone, especially for the reasonable price.

Quite huge. Ive got Logitech LX8 and it works really nice and smooth as a set. Came in a roll. Doesnt slide on a desk. I would recommend that pad to everyone. Maybe a bit smaller size though.
Great Mat, specially on the Go October 6, 2008 It's a very nice mat, specially for the money. I find it perfect to roll it up and stuck it on my laptop bag, it's specially suited for being on the go.
Great mouse pad...pretty satisfied September 17, 2008 From what many people already know, SteelSeries is quite popular among the FPS gamers out there. I ordered it a couple days ago and got it a day earlier than it originally estimated...props to Amazon.com :) From what I can tell it's kinda thin but nonetheless the surface feels very smooth and accurate with my MX-518.
Really smooth with the Logitech G9 mouse! August 8, 2008 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I didn't like how the bottom surface of my Logitech G9 laser mouse was getting scratched, as well as the table, so I decided to look for a mouse pad. I really did not want to spend an amount of money where I could practically buy a new mouse (who really needs flashy lights on a mouse pad?), so the price for this pad was definitely the first one that caught my attention. SteelSeries is also a known brand for gaming products (I also own their headset).
I also own the Belkin F8E262-BLK WaveRest Gel Mouse Pad, which is in the same price range as this SteelSeries pad, but it's nowhere near as smooth.
The mouse pad is VERY thin that you can easily roll it up (that's actually how it will arrive in the package).
Sure, most will probably think a mouse pad isn't required for a laser mouse for it to work, but if you want more smooth movements/better tracking, avoid scratches to your mouse, you'll definitely want to pick this up. If you also own the G9 mouse, I highly recommend getting this.
