Product Description The Razer Destructor was co-designed, tested and validated by some of the most internationally respected and revered eSports teams, including Fnatic, Team World Elite and Team EG. Through their constant input, the engineers were able to push the boundaries of invention beyond all expectations, culminating in a product whose level of refinement is only possible at the highest echelons of competitive tuning. The crux of the Razer Destructor?s innovation lies in its proprietary gunmetal coating which yields a highly reactive surface. The result is superior tactility, improved responsiveness and enhanced tracking.

This stuff rocks! December 12, 2008 >> Promising high Razer quality. >> Stylish, futuristic design (I personally believe it's the most stylish gaming pad in the market). >> Flexible (Unlike the Razer Exact Mat, it's not made of steel, so don't worry about it bending or denting) >> Softer than hard pads and harder than cloth pads, just the right texture and feel. >> Comes in a hard, secure case that keeps it safe from almost everything when you carry it around to LAN parties or wherever. >> Not crazily large like Razer Mantis but big enough to never run out of surface even during intense gameplay. >> Unlike Razer Exact Mat, it has a full body rubber base, so it doesn't move around AT ALL, just keep the surface clean/dirt free. >> Thinner than most of the hard mouse pads so doesn't really bother if there is no wrist support, but still it would be nice to have one. >> A bit expensive, but worth it. Better than spending more on a Steel Series SX.
Best mouse pad ever November 29, 2008 I also own a Razer Mantis control. I switch to this as I find the Mantis taking too much of my desk space. This mouse pad size is perfect for me. Large enough to give you space to move in games, while not so large that you'll find it troublesome. Surface wise I would say its a combi of speed and control. So you have the best of both world.
You're better off making a DIY mouse pad November 15, 2008 At 4000dpi on the Razer Lachesis the pointer moves when I press any button on the mouse. I ended up returning the Destructor mat and purchased an Anolon Advanced 18x10 double burner griddle from Bed Bath & Beyond for $32+tax (after 20% off coupon) and made 2 mouse pads out of it. No more moving pointer on mouse clicks!
Great but pricey September 30, 2008 This is the best mouse pad you can own. It doesn't slide around, the surface is incredibly smooth and the size is plenty big.
However, it's expensive. Too expensive really. And the case that comes with it is useless. If you don't mind paying too much for a really nice mouse pad, this is for you.
What more to say? It is an excellent mouse pad! September 8, 2008 Pro: Black (blends in with the other electronics), easy to clean when (dry, never tried wet before) food gets on it, and large enough for my movement.
Con: None.
