for those of us still dealing with agp connectors this is one of the few available boards that will support the newer EA games that my grandkids are addicted to. The missing star reflects the fact that the package is basically an OEM configuration with no documentation. I'm a bit smarter than the average bear with this stuff, so finding what comfort I needed on the web site was OK. A less experienced (or aware) user might have problems. Other than that gripe the install was clean and the board performs to expectations.
 Great for Spores and Flight Simulator December 29, 2008

I had a 5 year old Dell computer that needed more video power to run Spores and Flight simulator for my children. I bought this card and installed it with no problems and moved the 5 year old PC up to the children's playroom and they are now happily playing Spores and running MS Flight simulator X with no problems. Great product at a great price.

I bought this card to replace an old geforce card I had. I am not a heavy gamer, but I occasionally play some older games. This card runs them perfectly. I didn't want to use the shared video memory my pc has because it just slows everything down. This card is great for dvd playback, and it actually plays some of the older shooters like doom 3 in ultra res with a good frame rate. If you are not a heavy gamer and need a card for movie playback, this is a great deal. Especially for the price. I also like the fact that it has a heat sync instead of a fan. Much quieter. Just make sure you have fans running in your pc to cool it down.

I bought this video card to give a little longer life to my 4 years old office computer... It was easy to install.. no drivers needed... Installed without any problem a new Samsung LCD monitor (1360x768 resolution). Also added brand new RAM memory and upgraded hard drive and ready for Windows Vista. For a total of $ 125.00 a almost NEW computer.
decent inexpensive video card October 16, 2008
I installed this video card on my wife's computer. She uses it for all sorts of publications and documents creation. I loaded the latest drivers and the card runs great with any business software and publication software loaded on on the machine. No games are played on that computer so I don't know how it will do with any games. The bottom line a great basic card that works reliably.
